Purify Water

Cheap but effective way to purify water

Pool Shock – HTH Shock ‘n Swim – calcium hypochlorite

1 level teaspoon 49% (1 heaping 1/2 teaspoon 68% or higher) to one gallon water = stock chlorine bleach

1 part stock chlorine bleach to 100 parts water = clean water

let sit for several hour then pour back and forthg between two containers if taste is bad or there is still a heavy chlorine smell.
